talentmapPro - the new home of talentmap® on the web

Welcome to the new home for talentmap® on the world wide web.

The UK Commission for Employment and Skills has placed the Intellectual Property (IP) relating to talentmap® into the public domain within the UK.  It was always planned that public-funded support for talentmap® would end in 2010-11 and the UK Commission has now effectively withdrawn from direct support and promotion of talentmap®.

talentmapPro has been set up so that the resources and knowledge developed under the talentmap® Project can contuinue to be readily accessed by qualifying organisations and individuals. For most people and organisations within the UK that means YOU!

All the relevant narrative and links from the previous 'core' talentmap® website and the talentmap® online book site have been incorporated into talentmapPro.  The downloadable items from the old talentmap® Resource centre will be added over the next few weeks.  If you cannot see what you need then use the online chat button on the left of every page to let us know and we'll do our best to prioritise its availability.

Now that talentmap® is in the public domain two new features are available:

• the directory - a ready reference of organisations active in the UK talent and skills landscape with their services and interests classified through the talentmap® framework. Simple entries, including weblinks, may be added free of charge, and there are opportunities to add more extensive listing features - allowing your organisation / business to stand out against the competition.
• page sponsorship - an opportunity to show your commitment to skills and talent development whilst bringing your organisation's or business' identity to the attention of employers.

More features will be included as the site develops, such as talent plan templates, blogspots and the re-introduction of the talentmap® search tool.
